Corinthians are the champions of the “Supercopa Rei”, Brazil’s Supercup, which honours the late Pelé, often referred to as King Pelé, in its name.
The title was secured with a 2–0 victory over Flamengo at the Mané Garrincha Stadium in Brasília, Brazil’s capital, on Sunday afternoon (the 1st). The São Paulo side lifted the trophy for the second time, claiming back-to-back titles in the competition.
Their first Supercopa triumph came back in 1991—also against Flamengo. In the 2026 edition, Corinthians earned their place in the tournament as winners of the 2025 Copa do Brasil, while Flamengo qualified as reigning Brazilian league champions.
